Within this scope, Farshad Moqimi, the CEO of the company who came to Van with the delegation accompanying him, the Governor and Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, Mehmet Emin Bilmez, the Chairman of the Organized Industrial Zone (OSB), Mehmet Aslan and the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Necdet Takva, Anatolian Development Agency Secretary General Halil İbrahim and business representatives in the city had a meeting.
The decision of building a car factory in Van generated excitement and enthusiasm in the province of Van.

They are now is counting days to build a factory in Van with an investment of $300 million.
Turkey as Gateaway to International Market
The company has investments in Canada as well as Iran. Initially, the plan is to establish a nationwide sales network for the minibuses and vans it will produce in Van. Khodro is defining ambitious goals for Turkey’s market. The confident company in this regard said they will extend their business to the West via Turkey. The crucial geographical position of the country will enable them to work with the West efficiently. Turkey is the place to pave the way to the international market.
